360-319-8209 for wedding or memorial services

Ordained in 1981, I am a minister who performs wedding ceremonies and “Celebration of Life” memorial and funeral services. I primarily work in the Bellingham, Washington, area, but am also available for services throughout Washington and Oregon.

Weddings

I like to work with you as a couple to design the ceremony you want. It’s important that you use words that are meaningful to you and that you feel comfortable with- making it just the right balance of spirituality, fun and creativity to your liking. I am flexible and work with you to co-create your custom ceremony, whether it be spiritual, traditional, or contemporary. You may want to add a special poem or song, or write your own vows. Of course, some couples like to leave it short and sweet!

I am comfortable with either an informal or formal setting–being at ease with a small gathering of a few special friends or with 200 of your favorite people. I am available to help guide you through the rehearsal process. I work with you, your wedding party and wedding coordinator, if you are using one, to make your day go as smooth as possible. On the day of the wedding, you can depend on me to help you make the ceremony one of special meaning to you. I will arrive early, and work with you and your witnesses to get all of the necessary paperwork completed and signed.

If you are interested in having me perform your ceremony, you can make an appointment for a free, initial consultation. During the consultation, I can answer your questions about obtaining a marriage license, getting organized for the event, and creating the ceremony of your dreams. At that time, we can discuss wedding details and fees. My fees vary depending on rehearsal needs, travel, or any other special arrangements. Just give me a call, or email me!

“Celebration of Life” Services

I feel honored to be able to provide support to families and perform “Celebration of Life” memorial and funeral services. To me, it is important to honor your loved one’s life and how he or she impacted others’ lives…and to do it in a way that truly serves your needs. I am comfortable with services that are less religious in nature, or with doing a more traditional service which may include scripture. It is important to me that the service reflect who the person was and respect their spiritual beliefs, as well as those of the family. I can guide you in creating and organizing the service order, including helping you pick music, poems, and writing your loved one’s life story. I am available for services held at a family home, a rented hall, or funeral home. Contact me at 360-319-8209.
